Moving my African clawed frog
Yesterday i moved an albino African clawed frog to another tank while i
perform maintenance on the existing one.

I netted him and tried to cover the net with my hand but, half way to the
new tank, he managed to scramble free and fell to the floor, where he
started jumping about all over the place.

He went under the coffee table, under the sofa, between wall units, while we
frantically ran after him.

When i finally caught him, he was all covered in bits of dirt... but i
didn't want to stress him any more so i gently put him straight into the new
tank... and this is the cool bit... he grabbed hold of my finger and
wouldn't let go for about 2 minutes!

I wish i had a camera to hand... it was the sweetest thing... he was holding
onto my finger for dear life... there was no way he was letting go... maybe
it's because we hand feed him, but that has to be the most affectionate -
and comical - moment in all my years of fish keeping :)

He's doing fine now... he ate a block of bloodworm today and is happily
booting round the new tank so i don't think any permanant damage was done.

Tomorrow i have to move him back again...
