Fora (Forums) was Shameless link plug
I take on board what folks have said re. Usenet Vs web forums, but I
feel we usenutters are a dying breed. I have been using
http://www.uk-aquarist.com/index.php?act=idx
For a little while now, and yes it takes a bit of learning, but the
people are friendly and helpful, the site owner responds quickly to
even the stupidest query and there is a lot of info etc. I recommend
giving it a try...
