new gunfit seems to be working well (over and above the permanent choke
I've acquired). Been having a go at ABT selection shoots. No earth
shattering scores, but it is interesting to see fairly consistent rise in
scores by sticking to just the one discipline. Martin Barker at
Nuthampstead seems to be pleased with what I've managed so far.Trouble is,
I like the variation. Think I need to sit down and decide if I want to
have another go next year. I enjoy the company of shooting, but at
selection shoots I've very definitely on my own. The only ones who want to
talk to me seem to think that I've travelled 300 miles with kit, spent
several hundred pounds on entry, hotel, travel, cartridges etc in order to
shag them, deluded or what?
