[PRI] Lightning Rod World Final / Ministox Essex Championship
Stephen Emerson successfully retained his World title in the Lightning
Rods at Arena Essex today.
He made use of his pole position start following time trials to grab the
first corner ahead of Terry Shelvey then, despite occasional delays from
back markers, he sprinted off to victory, getting almost a quarter lap on
Shelvey who had Gary Greenland to keep him company. Gordon McKee came
fourth.
Jimmy Galloway took the Essex Championship for the Ministox, Vinni Madden
losong second place to Rob Hull and a flat tyre on the last corner when
put Madden and Hull into the wall on the home straight but both recovered
for trophies.
See the usual sites for more info. And yes, I will get around to updating
Crashnet, if only my day job lets me!
