Paging the MOT requirement isti   
I've noticed the front brake on the GN400 doesn't have a brake light switch.

Something in the back of my mind tells me that it wasn't a requirement of 
the period and a few Suzuki's of that age didn't have them fitted relying on 
the back brake light switch to light the light.

Anyone here care to confirm or refute my aging brain cells :)

Pretty sure that was the arrangement on my GSX250, too.

That's a handy link that confirmed what I thought (though I couldn't
recall the dates), thanks. 

Stop lamp switches are a subject I've recently had dealings with; the
new Guzzi came with no working stop lamp at all. When I'm feeling
brave I'll do a write-up of the purchase so everyone can point and
laugh.

I had a hunch the date was 1/4/86 because that was when indicators
became compulsory, too.
