The Box of Dog never got as far as my garage, where it was meant to be
assembled. IIRC, it went via Champ (maybe?) and Burnt to Andrew's friend
Mick, who still has it in his garage to the best of my knowledge.
AFAIK, it's got some useful spares (like an extra front end), but may be
missing some slightly critical components (carbs, for example).

Q.E.D.
Pay heed, would-be box-of-bits buyers :)

No - I bought it from Burnt, divorce precluded me doing anything [1],
and then sold it to Mick.
[1] tho I'm not arguing that I would have got it together, mind

Close enough for jazz, I thought.

If I ever get rid of the two half-bikes that are currently cluttering up
my garage, I'm tempted to get the boxes and sort through them properly
to work out what's there and what's not. In my Copious Free Time, of course.

There is, in fact, most of a motorcycle there, and I reckon the bits
would be worth flogging on eBay.

That looks good the way it is. If I won it I don't think I'd want to
stick all that plastic on it and would probably bung some small clocks
and lights etc on it.

It's only a 1 litre engine, how did BMW manage to make it so fucking
huge?

It should be added: never, ever, *EVER* move house with a bike in
bits.
And if you are between houses, having sold one and not yet bought
another, do not buy a bike in bits, no matter how great the
temptation, because you may find the only place to store it is in your
car.

*Perk*
Hard to work out what the complete bike would be worth, if you managed
to get it back together properly. Maybe 3k. It's not like a naked
basic K100 is the most desirable bike in the world.

My bad. I was thinking of the K. Kawsaki H1s go for anything between
£1500-5000, depending on model and condition
