UR - Ely to Swindon.
Is there anyone who could collect a cast iron fire grate from Ely,
Cambs & either store it 'til I can get there or UR it towards Swindon?

Possibly store it or pass it on in the Cambridge area. I'm in
Newmarket. I might have spare time on a weekend.

Thanks. Ultimately Swindon, but no rush.

I'll be home at the weekend and move it slightly further towards
Swindon if something can be sorted. It'd have to be Saturday because I
think the plan is to take the shit factory down to the river to feed
the ducks on Sunday.

it's probably difficult to pick out the HD in Newmarket, what with all the
other agricultural traffic

True, but it is tucked away a bit.
It's also rather difficult negotiating the roads round there as well, what
with the racing horses continually overtaking the sprotbikes! ;o)

Well, a Guzzi Quota isn't hard to spot: they kind of loom. Spotting a
Harley amongst the hundreds of others in Newmarket is a bit more of a
challenge!
Apart from that, I don't actually go into town much, certainly not in
the evenings.

Nor me.
I work in Newmarket, (Snailwell really) and pop into Tesco's for lunch.
Not noticed a Guzzi in the locality TBH, but your right about all the other
old iron that roams around, mind.
I do pop into BB on the odd occasion though.

Ah. I actually work a few miles the other side of Cambridge. To be
fair, the Guzzi generally only gets used for commuting; weekend bikes
tend to be the Aprilia & R1, but even those haven't seen much action
lately.

Been a little on the wet side to enjoy the leisure riding.
