Louis Hamilton
What an unexpectedly exciting finish to an F1 GP!

He really is a very talented driver.

No, there was nobody called Louis racing.

And no he did not win, punished with a 25 second time penalty
by the stewards.

Interesting, is it not, that the FIA (headed by Max Mosely - son of the
leader of the British Union of Fascists, Oswald) seem to have a problem
with Lewis Hamilton - the first black F1 driver?

He gained no advantage from being forced into the chicane by an errant
Williams. It's bollocks.

Eh? I thought it was about the incident where he tried to overtake
Raikkonen, got about level and Raikkonen forced him into the run-off
area? Was it not for that then?

It was. I'm trying to remember another case where a driver gained an
advantage by cutting a corner, then gave that advantage back as Lewis
did, & yet still got penalised. I'm failing.

IIRC there was an incident with a Williams recovering at some point. It
all got a tad confusing.

Regardless, it was nothing dodgy.

Of course, if Hamilton had been Massa and had been released in a Ferrari
straight into the path of another car in the pits, I am sure nothing
would have been said.

Several reports say "and the stewards decided to punish him anyway"
which about sums it up.

Oh yes - but Raikkonen came out ahead of that one I think.

Well, we all recall the pit-winning incident with Schumacher, don't we?
Any other team, it woudldn't have happened with.

Who?

I thought we had a very nice half-coloured chap called Lewis that was
doing the F1 this year.

And he looks very nice in the last email I got from the team. From a
gurly POV, cwooooorrr!!!

have you seen him from behind without his helmet on? It could be the
front half. Are the palms of his hand lighter than the backs of them -
that's always a giveaway for "front-half-coloured".

The latest PC term is "dual heritage"

What a load of fucking bollocks, if he's part American then they have

Good point.

Of course, it could also be top-front and lower-rear quarters.

Watching the re-run of the incident it looked to me as if Hamilton
allowed the other car to overtake prior to the next corner, thus making
up for the chicanery.

The words "Fix!" and "Corrupt bastards!" was being shouted about the
stewards' decision after I saw that.

Looked? It was exactly what he did. And, to make the point, he
crossed *behind* Raikkonen's car before attempting to outbrake him.

The rules say that if you gain advantage by cutting a chicane you must
give it back, which is exactly what Hamilton did, immediately. His
only error was not to second guess the stewards; had he done so, he
might have waited a couple of extra corners before overtaking
Raikkonnen again.

The team even contacted the race director to ask if they'd be ok & were
told it was fine. Meanwhile, Kimi overtook Lewis under a yellow flag
during the errant Williams episode, & that isn't being investigated.
The FIA have finally proved their corruption beyond any doubt. Well
actually there wasn't any doubt anyway, after they fined McLaren $100m
for having Ferrari IP, but did nothing about Renault & Ferrari having
McLaren IP.

"Triple world champion Niki Lauda has described the stewards' decision as
"the worst judgement in F1 history"."

I read somewhere that it was Whiting who then reported them. After
telling the team it was fine....

Have you got a link or an idea where there's evidence of this? I'd
like to wave it under the nose of a blind Ferrari fanatic who has also
conveniently forgotten the wings/barrage boards etc that Ferrari got
away with...

Seriously - don't waste your breath. Ferrari fanatics are 100% blind to
any evidence. If you're that determined though, it'll be on the FIA
website as well as autosport etc. You'll also find stuff about
Ferrari's illegal moveable floor they used to win Australia last year,
& can compare & contrast the FIA's response to that with how they
handled BAR's fuel ballast & numerous other technical 'infringements'.

I said to the wife as I left the room after watching the race, "He'll not
keep the win, coz that knobhead Mosely doesn't like black folk and he'll see
to that".
