France passion 2008
I've just returned from a trip trying to use some of the sites in the France
Passion guide 2008 with a complete lack of success. None of the sites we
tried had the logo visible and when we did find the owners to say they were
unhelpful would be an understatement.

I had wondered why a farmer would want motorhomes on his land for no
definate reward and I think my experience confirms my suspicions. All the
sites we tried were in the Champagne area and looked pretty afluent. Maybe
if we tried some peasant's smallholding who looked deperate to flog us a few
vegetables we might have more success in future but my faith in this guide
has gone.

Has anyone had any better experiences?

My trusty Camperstop book never let me down nor did searching for
'Municipal' at www.campingfrance.com which gives another 2000 good cheap
stopovers in towns and villages.

Rgds
