Travelling to Eire
Hi all - my first posting to this group - and looking for some advice!
We are travelling to Eire in our camper van next month and wonder if
our UK analogue portable tv will receive signals from Irish tv.
Second - we are carrying Calor gas in 4.5kg bottles - is this
available in Eire or should I carry my France kit of Camping Gaz &
adaptor?
We intend to remain in the southern half of the country ie Cork, Kerry
etc
Many thanks in advance.
Jock

I was in the Northern Island right next to the border with the South and
could recieve Analogue TV very good both north and south. I also had a
Freeview box with me and could get Irish digital extremely well, very poor
digital of N. Ireland.
One think I would add is for analogue the south use VHF still as well as
UHF.
