Is your van clean or will you pay £100 a day?

Re: Travel to London in your Motorcaravan? you'll love this
My van is a 2.0L petrol, so I'm not in the charging bracket( yet)for being
charged , but the best bet I would say is to boycott going to London, its
all over priced anyway :o)
I am just waiting for the congestion charge for cars etc to be started up in
Cambridge so I will be able to boycott there as well. :o)

It's people who live in London and own motorcaravans I feel sorry for.
Remember that unlike congestion charging there is NO residents
discount, this applies 24/7 and across the whole of greater London
including the suburbs.
So someone in say Hillingdon going for a weekend in the Cotswolds
would have to pay £200 (£100 on the Friday and £100 on the Sunday) to
drive a few miles inside the M25.

sounds like an idea to purchase some land and use it for motorhome storage
just outside the M25
Although, no idea what a plot of land would be just outside the M25

And what if they were a 'green' family and ditched their car so that they
used the motorhome daily ? Thus helping to save the planet by only owning /
driving one vehicle that does all of their needs, like many motorhomers do.

Maybe it needs one of these Prime Ministers Petition things.
What about disabled and old people for who a Motorhome might be their
daily drive?
