That's not quite correct,
Autocruise are still in business and are now part of the Swift Group, which
also includes Swift, Bessacar, Kon-Tiki & Ace.
This now seems to be common as for the last few years the larger
manufacturers are buying out the other established makes and creating
conglomerates, such as CI who own Trigano, Autotrail, Chausson and
Rollerteam.
Another major european group is Pilote who own six brands includimgh Mooveo,
Frankia, Le Voyageur and RMB.
Far from going out of business these larger groups seem to be making more
new models and improving the standards of quality and lowering the cost of
new motorhomes, as you can now buy a medium size coachbuilts from the budget
range brands such as Roller Team and Mooveo for well under £30,000.
