in three easy steps...

1: note how, early in the year, the torrential rain has got the river 
right up - but it's a bit too early for the salmon yet

2:  Decide that it's late enough now, and hear from the other anglers 
that one or two fish are being caught

3:  Upgrade one's trout licence (with hard-earned spondooliks) to a 
salmon licence



    and then just watch as the rain switches off faster than George Bush 
in an IQ test.....
