Although I wouldn't go without the repellent, Thurso is not bad for
midges. the west coast, however, is a completely different kettle of
fish.

Hi, yes, but I haven't *really* fished the Thurso, other than below the
first bridge - I have a relative who lives up there, and I mostly go to
fish the remote lochs. Sorry I can't help more, but good luck!

midges. the west coast, however, is a completely different kettle of
