LLYN BRENIG FISHING REPORT WEEK ENDING 14TH MAY 2006

This week saw the weather varying from a foggy start to the week and 
picking up to a very warm and bright end of week with some thunderstorms 
in the evenings. The wind direction has been a warm north wind. The 
water temperature is around 9 C.

The fishing has been good with a lot of fish rising to feed of the 
hatching buzzers and green fly. The hotspots this week have been by 
hafod lom woods, Tower bay and between the dam and Visitor Centre for 
boats. The hotspots from the bank have been between the dam and Visitor 
Centre, Nantglyn bank and Tower bay.

The best fishing methods this week have been buzzers and hoppers fished 
on an intermediate line. The rod average for the week is 3.7 fish. The 
best bag of the week went to Mr K. Jones from Denbigh who caught 6 fish 
for 12lb 6oz. The fish were caught on a black and green booby.

The Airflow DDWW competition is being held again this year it is on the 
16th September with bookings closing on 1st August. First prize for the 
winning pair is £500 cash and everyone gets a well stocked goody bag.
