Death Race 2008.
ITV 1
8pm tonight.
Quentin Willson. on dangerous motoring stunts on internet video,
linked with road fatalities.
Could be interesting.
Fifth Gear is on Ch 5 at the same time, if anyone is interested.

Did you hear about the little Indian chief who didn't know the difference between heads and tails?
He was always bringing home scalps with holes in them.

It's a repeat from last year - just with 2008 rather than 2007.
Trying to impose censorship will never work. Next we will
have a firewall like china.
Are people so thick they can't think for themselves and decide
what they want to watch? Do we really have a nation of thick
and stupid people that need to be told how to live each day!
If people don't want to watch videos of cars racing why do they
go and search for them - then complain after sitting through every
single one. It reminds me of people that complain about radio
and TV programmes, they sit through the whole thing.

What is this "Death Race 2008"? When I searched for it on youtube, I got a film trailer.

A wealthy playboy met a beautiful young girl in an exclusive lounge.
He took her to his lavish apartment where he soon discovered she was not a tramp, but was well groomed and apparently very intelligent.
Hoping to get her into bed he began showing her his collection of expensive paintings, first editions by famous authors and offered her a glass of wine.
He asked whether she preferred Port or Sherry and she said, "Oh, Sherry by all means. To me it's the nectar of the gods.
Just looking at it in a crystal-clear decanter fills me with a glorious sense of anticipation.
When the stopper is removed and the gorgeous liquid is poured into my glass, I inhale the enchanting aroma and I'm lifted on the wings of ecstasy.
It seems as though I'm about to drink a magic potion and my whole being begins to glow.
The sound of a thousand violins being softly played fills my ears and I'm transported into another world.
"On the other hand, Port makes me fart."

Surely the problem is young people watching the videos, then driving like it
on public roads?

Why is the front of an aeroplane called a cockpit?
If you have female pilots do you call it a pussypit?

One day a sweet little girl becomes puzzled about her origin.
"How did I get here, Mommy?" she asks.
Her mother replies, using a well-worn phrase, "Why God sent
you, Honey."
"And did God send you too, Mommy?" she continues.
"Yes, Sweetheart, he did."
"And Daddy, and Grandma and Grandpa, and their moms and
dads, too?"
"Yes, Honey, all of them, too."
The child shakes her head in disbelief. "Then you're telling me
there's been no sex in this family for over 200 years? No
wonder everyone is so grouchy!"

With the sun beginning to rise, the cabin of the jetliner was suddenly illuminated.
"Who turned on the fucking lights?" a male passenger, who had been surly since boarding, snarled at a stewardess.
The girl had had enough of this particular character. "These are the breakfast lights, sir," she answered with forced sweetness.
"The fucking lights are much dimmer, and you snored right through them."

A bloke is in a queue at the Super Market when he notices that the rather dishy blonde behind him has just raised her hand and smiled hello to him.
He is rather taken aback that such a looker would be waving to him, and although familiar he can't place where he might know her from, so he says "Sorry, do you know me?"
She replies "I maybe mistaken, but I thought you might be the father of one of my children!"
His mind shoots back to the one and only time he has been unfaithful, "Christ!" he says "are you that stripogram on my stag night that I shagged on the snooker table in front of all my mates while your mate whipped me with some wet celery and stuck a cucumber up my arse?"
"No" she replies, "I'm your son's English Teacher"
