Global Warming is just an excuse to put tax on fuel and most on the
money is wasted on those lazy parasites who go-around stabbing each-
other, shooting each-other, stand at traffic lights dirtying car
windows & demanding money for it.

There may be some truth in the last bit but you're in serious denial if 
you seriously think the way humans have behaved over the last 50 or so 
years is not having a dramatic effect on the ecology of planet Earth.

You always had violent people but in the old days the same people
where used as front line troops & did hard jobs. The dramatic change
to the climate is more to do with underground nuclear bomb testing,
the explosion of the nuclear power station at Chernobyl in
Russia(1986) & wars around the world.

That may very well be true. The con is in the fact that few of 
the remedial measures taken by the gov't is going to make any 
noticeable difference, but it is a good excuse to raise the tax 
on fuel and vehicle ownership.

There is a direct link between our consumption of manufactured 
products and global warming. It doesn't just apply to oil based 
fuels. It applies to 'any' manufactured product. They all make a 
contribution to the problem.

I see no sign of any encouragement from the gov't to reduce our 
spending on white goods, furniture, electrical goods etc. By 
making things last longer. Repairing rather than replacing.
As far as the environment is concerned, newer is not always 
better.

Throwing things away before they have reached the end of their 
possible life, is in itself contributing to global warming, but 
all any gov't appears able to do is concentrate on vehicle 
emissions and recycling. Which IMO is merely scratching the 
surface of the problem.

If you look down on us from up there, we are sending up a thin pin line 
of pollution to the atmosphere. if you look down on the other countries, 
they're sending it up in a drainpipe.

If it is, then planet Earth will adapt to it. If what we are doing is 
dangerous to ourselves as a species, then we will die out because of it but 
the planet will carry on having evolved, as it has since the day it was 
formed.

Your probably correct. All those stem trains, boats, cars, steam 
engines, Factories and power stations churning out god knows what.......

But! It does take a long time for those polluting items to take effect 
and that is what we are seeing today.

The massive increase in cars and aviation is just adding to it.

I thought Earth made some excellent points.


It would be a shame if humans were to die out because they are such a 
fascinating species. They can dig crap up out of the ground and turn it into 
something that can fly at 600mph, eight miles above the planet with 400 of 
their species aboard. Gerbils can't do that.

But if humans do die out, there will be plenty of other life to carry the 
planet's history onwards and the earth will one day die itself anyway 
whatever happens.

Did the planet warm up and die ?, no it just did what it always does and 
went on its sweet way

Matter is only changed and altered, not added to (apart from various nuclear 
events and intrusions from space),
eventually the planet will stabilise, may be at a different temp but all 
will be well, trust me.
