Hello Guy
What about cycle racing on the streets of London - is that safe?
Do you do it regularly?

Still haven't seen your vehement condemnation of Top Gear Series 10 Episode

I don't think judith is into condemning anything other than her
chosen hate group, any more than she is capable of realising that
riding a bicycle across town at 20mph instead of 18mph is not
actually likely to result in the end of civilisation as we know it.
It's quite funny - the silly bint doesn't seem to realise what a
mean low down racing demon of a machine a Brompton isn't.

Given that they have not bragged about racing on the streets of London
in this newsgroup - it would not be an appropriate place to comment on
it

Why thank you Guy.
It was in fact you that said that you had had the race with a
colleague across London. If you were trying the race on an
inappropriate machine then this of cause confirms that you are indeed
a fuckwit.
However, irrespective of the speed that you were doing it does seem to
me to be an inappropriate activity on the public highway.

I'm fairly sure she doesn't know what one is - when someone reported
that they were braking so hard the back end started to fold she
started on about whether it was structurally safe and wanted an MOT
for bikes.

Why thanks for the opportunity to show your psycholist tendencies -
yes it was Woodall - there was no indication of what he was riding -
he didn't say it was a Brompton - so I asked the reasonable questions:
>It's not obvious in the clip but I also braked very hard there to avoid
>a collision - so hard, infact that the bike started to fold up
>underneath me. I only needed to brake for about half a second.
Is the cycle (is it a cycle?) structurally sound? Did you knock it up
yourself?
Perhaps there should be the equivalent of MOTs for bikes and
competency tests for cyclists.

Now, now Guy - I just love the way you use capitals to give words
emphasis. Is that a personal or a psycholist tendency? How is the
health by the way - still one or two problems?
