Marble the guinea pig had two babies last night - they are
absolutely enchanting, utterly gorgeous. All ears and feet, and
lovely soft fur. They are already running around like Mum.

Excellent way of rearing protein during the credit crunch, Guy. Although it
does seem to be easier having a couple of hens laying eggs, such as The
Laydeez, Anode & Cathode ;-)

Useful in hot weather as well, as a live a guinea pig will stay fresher in
the saddle bag than a ham sandwich.
