Women Cyclists on Usenet
Anyone ever encountered a woman cyclist who had her head screwed on
straight? What a bunch of poor lost sluts they are!

All of my real life encounters with women cyclist have been unmitigated
disasters. They pretend to be like us men never realizing they do not have
our hormones. A women, whether cyclist or not, needs to realize that her
only model is Our Blessed Lady, not the Whore of Babylon.

My encounters with women cyclists on these newsgroups has been even more
disastrous if that is possible. Every single one has proven themselves to be
even worse than the Whore of Babylon. They seem to delight in seeing how
much they can shock, never realizing that it is impossible for a woman to
shock a man. We men are swine, but we want women to be saints. Woe betide
any woman who thinks she can be a whore and a slut. Nay, not even Tom
Sherman would appreciate such a woman. JimmyMac, I don't know about - that
may be his type.

Ed Dolan the Great will only give respect where it is due. Women who behave
like men are doomed in his eyes. The only question is whether they should be
burned at the stake or stoned to death for their unwomanly heresies. Yea,
either be saintly or be gone! Where is the Spanish Inquisition when it is so
desperately needed! The women of today have become worse than witches.

Women are the pits. Any real man will admit this. It is only pansies like
the anonymous Nospam who think otherwise.

Ed Dolan the Great goes on His way unperturbed by slings from the peanut

I wonder whatever happened to those Jewish sluts from Alaska? Apparently

I think I see the problem Eddie, why your getting lousy fucks.

You have to fuck with real women, not your computer that is
logged into Usenet. Yes, I know that the sound port on your
computer is just the right size for you, but really it's supposed
to be used for plugging in a set of speakers, not copulatory
purposes.

Ted, the one and only "Ed Dolan the Great Etc" seems to be a raving mad
mysogenist.

His experience of female cyclists is not at all the view of the many
other male cyclists who I know and ride with often.

So *Ladies*, if you are reading this news group, please don't be alarmed
by the tiny minority of men (who do comprise a fair number anyway) who
are attracted to non moderated news groups with nothing to stop them
spewing a torrent of verbal abuse, sexual intolerance, and negativity
about things which are uniquely female in nature. I for one never expect
women to duplicate the efforts of male cyclists. It is a fact that very
few females ever come near male physical strength and endurance levels,
but I can only admire the determination and courage displayed by females
who have found asserting themselves on two wheels is a heck of a lot
better than leading timid un-sporting and non active lives like so many
settle for. For example, look at the level of female expertise with
cycling demonstrated during the women's road race at the Olympics.
Anyone competing at that level has to be experienced and know a lot.
Compare what happens in men's races, and suddenly you'll see many men
are fools on wheels. Look at all the crashes during the TDF especially
during the first week. Lotsa male bone heads out there.

I for one would much rather live in a world where all women lived free
of the stupid assessments by Dolan, and free to persue lives as
cyclists, doctors, or bricklayers if they so choose. Some might choose
to conceive children, and bear them and give birth, something Dolan
depended upon for his very existance. Men should act to promote more
equality and for the advancement of females with less demand on them
spending so many years "barefoot and pregnant" thus loading up the
Planet with too many people all because of stupid male ego about
duplication of themselves. Most men have known women they didn't get
along with, but many women have just as many reasons to declare why they
couldn't get along with a large number of men; there is good / bad
amoung either sex, but enough good to give us hope that the next
encounter with a female cyclist will be just fine, as it might be when
you visit a female doctor or dentist as i so gladly do, because many
women if not most have better person to person communication skills than
many men!

Perhaps Mr Dolan might like to explain how he could duplicate the
efforts of say Beryl Burton, a famous english woman cyclist who beat
many men during a long career on two wheels, see
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beryl_Burton

Not until Mr Dolan does as many good times on his bike as Beryl achieved
would I for one ever take him more seriously, and even then I'd NEVER
accept the derision he spews on females. In my own small world around me
in which I cycle out on sunday mornings with agroup here there are
always some females who turn up and take part in the ride and despite
the overwhelming presence of males who are mostly all a lot faster, but
of no better character than the females, and indeed many males are far
worse male sluts and male whores than Dolan suggest about the females.
The idea of sluttery suggests sexual favour is a freely given thing, and
whoredom means sexual favours are paid for, but lemme tellya all that
many men impose conditions upon females for the sex they offer which
makes the female have to pay dearly for the experience. Some men demand
a high price for themselves. Nothing is actually given freely and
strings and conditions apply. But men and women should learn how to
trade favours amicably, which most successful couples manage
intuitively, without the word slut or whore ever entering their
consciousness unless you have a brain like Mt Dolan.
Usually there are enough slow males to be company for the women on
sunday rides, and the faster men can tear off ahead of slower riders
doing men's business of unofficial competion on lonely country roads
where some of us just enjoy nothing better than riding absolutely flat
out for fun for a couple of hours, but then to wait for the others and
road junctions or at a top of a hill.

At the morning tea break taken during a ride or after one, the women are
a boon to the sense of conviviality and friendship, something that I
think the Dolans of this world might never experience because of a
limited mind set. I would suggest more females ride on sunday mornings
with my local Pedal Power group, they are welcome, and will never
experience the prejudices expressed by Dolan.

Women on Usernet groups generally are rather rare because of the Dolans
of this world. Just because they are female, when a woman says something
somewhere out of the crevices in rocks world wide will come spiders to
attack them because they just cannot handle females.

I suggest Mr Dolan learn some other way of being, embracing tolerance
for starters, examining the positve facts about females, and then we
might see more females grace our presence and share our interests.

Having said all that and been so altruistic, I have met some cranky
females on the Internet who like nothing better than hiding behind an
anonymous name to chew the head off any man who dares "argue with a
woman" in public, or even say the "s" word, ie, call a women a sheila. I
never mind being called a bloke, which I know I am. I think I am
balanced and liberated. A silly tradition of chivalry has evolved over
centuries where it is agreed in advance women must not be argued with,
and men must submit to women's inabilities with logic and hard facts. So
i give as good as I get, but welcome anyone arguing to convince me
otherwise or something they think is unreasonable. But there have been
far more irrational men i have had to "deal with" than females on the
Internet. I continue to enjoy close female company, and will argue with
them as the issue might require, and i don't give them the chance to put
me under a thumb, and I certainly don't expect any one of them to be
subservient to me.

We disagree on that. Women are way more trouble than they are worth. The
single life is best if you are a man of intellect. It is why Catholic
Priests remain single to this day after a couple of thousand years of
history.

Of course not! That is because most men cyclists are swine who want to

Have you ever met a woman in your life who did not want children, preferably

The only physical thing I ever want to see a woman do is shake her butt,

forgiveness and do lots of penance. Women cyclists are an abomination!

I have already stated that men are swine, but women need to be saints. How
can they be saints if they are out cycling? Instead, they need to go to
church more and pray for us sinners.

All men want is sex whereas women want children, which means marriage,
house, etc., the complete catastrophe. Men have to sell their souls for a
little sex. The Great Ed Dolan sees this arrangement for what it is - a bad
bargain!

Women need to associate with other women where they can commune with one
another undisturbed by men. What do we have in common with them anyway?
Women are actually a separate species only distantly related to men. The
fact that we can procreate with them is a minor miracle.

I insist that women be women and not faux men. If they want to act
otherwise, then they will reap the whirlwind.

I have no interest in seeing any women on these forums. They are all
brainless chatterers. Let them get their own newsgroups.

A good final summing up. But men are best with men, and women are best with

they are.

Women give themselves away by the manner of their posts. They seem to be

In Australia, many men refer to females as "shielas". It isn't nice to
use this term when ardent feminists are present because they just might
kick your balls hard, and kick, slap, and maul and report your insult to
a committee.

Unfortunately, the man haters in Oz don't often know the term is one of
fondness, endearment, and quite in favour of women when used
appropriately by sensible males who don't hate any females. A nice bloke
might say about a nice girl he's met, "Gees she's a good shiela..." This
makes feminists cringe. The last time someone said that to Germaine
Sneer, Australia's feminist now living in London,
she replied "..Liar!" and stormed off to London away from all us good
blokes. But there wasn't one bloke in Oz who could maintain an erection
for longer than 1 minute in the presence of Germaine Sneer even if she
was naked and beggin for it and when she was at her peak of physical
attractiveness. Nevertheless, Germaine has a great mind when it "ain't
off the beam a bit" as we say here and she's quite famous for some
things she's said, and sometimes she really hits a nail especially when
no other bugger has the guts to say what she says. All part of Life's
tapestry, eh?.
Males in Oz are often refered to as "blokes" which could mean a good
bloke but the quality description of good /bad can't be assumed and must
be defined, just as in the case of a "shiela". Such quality definitions
are not insulting for blokes who mostly know everyone will define them
somewhere between good, bad, bloody awful, shithouse, or bloody good,
great etc. But not all shielas like being called a shiela because they
think it has a bad description **implied**; you'd only ever be called a
shiela if youse was a tart, slut, hooker, etc. Not as bad as being
called a C--T which is universally derisive, unless you quite like the
person you are calling a C--T, because despite the reasons for the
inappropriate nown, there is much to admire in the person, and you need
them. I had a boss call me a C--T one day, but he said it in a way that
was praise, and he then called himself one, and said that's what he had
to be because it was his job. But afaik, shielas don't do similar and
call people and things a C--K. They have other ways of bonding or
bitching....

Why do peole call horrid things of people C--Ts? I reckon its because
you can't get enough good sex during the first 40 years after age 16,
and you get into a habit of thinking of what is horrid, ie, the
knowledge your'e ageing but not gettin it, even when it is available
twice a week, and it makes you feel downright awful, so anything else
that makes you feel bad is a C--T, a nice way of using one word to say
so much more than if you said "female genital!" every time you hit your
thumb while trying to hammer a nail. Its also derisive to call someone a
C--T because your'e reducing the person to a mere female genital, which
by itself is entirely useless but in the case of some females the larger
part or dominant part of her might be her C--T because no matter how
hard you look, she has no other major positive attributes, like being
nice, being able to love, co-operate, being logical, predictable, cheap
to run, and skilled in activities not involving her C--T etc. There are
plenty of blokes who appear to be all C--K, and little else, just a pair
of legs, arms and brainless head attached to a pole that mucks up most
things it penetrates.

I'm sure that you don't need the facts of Oz life explained any further
because in the US and elsewhere there is enormous evidence of the
dysfunctionality and strangeness of either sex wherever you go on the
Planet. And no matter where a man goes, he has to be careful what he
says in the presence of women. Especially so if he expects her to cook
dinner.
Or if she's a doctor and pokes a finger up his arse to examine the
condition of his prostate gland.

So fellas, if you really want something with women, shut the mouth
unless what you say is female friendly.

There are a lot of silent men when they are with women.

Patrick Turner.

The attention spans of some people on many news groups limits them to
reading only one line. After that they get all anxious and wanna switch
their attention to something else.

I cannot help all these neurotic people.

Maybe there are silent readers, who wouldn't dream of posting anything
lest they get ripped appart by maddened dogs.

But after so much has been stated by ONE person about the greatness of
Dolan, I felt a balance needed re-establishing.

There would be female cyclists who'd think that aus.bicycle was a real
sewer full of women haters and misinformed erroneous males.

The Internet is a place of free expressions, even when they are
downright offensive, and most females I know avoid the lands of barren
bullshit and rocky insults, and find better things to do than type
endless defenses here.

The Great Ed Dolan of Minnesota establishes his own balance without any help
from Aussie twits!

You should not be talking about Tom Sherman of ARBR that way. He will not
appreciate it.

Women should find their own newsgroups so as not to bother us men. After
all, who wants to listen to their brainless chatter? Are there not sewing
circles where they can get together and commune with one another like hens?
Yea, we do not want them here!

Rush Limbaugh calls such loathsome creatures feminazis. They are really just
repressed whores and sluts of course.

Hey, Patrick - you dumb asshole, either say it in a couple of smallish
paragraphs or forget about it. No one in his right mind will read long
winded crap like yours. Try to keep your crap short like I do mine. That
way, maybe someone will read you other than a lunatic from an insane asylum.

Jeez, what a freaking idiot! He has got his names reversed. George is a
first name and Clive is a last name - or else he has two first names. We
can't be bothered with those who do not even know their own name.

Patrick Turner is one of the biggest assholes I have yet encountered. Tell
me Pat, how do you get to be such an asshole? Did you have to work at it or
were you born that way? Are there not plenty of porn sites on the world wide
web to occupy your miniscule brain? There is no one on these honorable
cycling newsgroups who is interested in your sexual preversities.

I have reported you to the Spanish Inquisition so prepare yourself for an
interrogation. I have recommended to the Grand Inquisitor that you be
horsewhipped until dead. It will then be my pleasure to piss on your grave.
