Solar powered lits.
Whilst doing my occasional check to see if pedalite have produced
clipless pedals yet, I found that they have started producing solar
powered lights to fit on rucksacks (called a Baglite, strange spelling.)
After a quick search of the web I could not find anyone selling them, so
a check on:
http://www.pedalite.com/PR22sept08.aspx
turned up the launch date, which explains why I have not seen them in
the wild. Anyway they look like a good idea for additional winter lighting.

Re: Solar powered lits.
I don't see it say how long they take to charge?
Too long would be my guess.

Weak winter sun behind cloud doesn't strike me as the best time to charge
some lights. How long do those solar powered garden lights work after dark
in the winter? How does the light output and solar cell size compare?

I read the subject as "Solar powered tits" - strangely, looking at
the picture on that page I wasn't much wrong. :-)
