apartment Costa Blanca (ATTN John H.)
Hi all,
Lurking this group for several years now and currently planning a trip
to the Costa Blanca in autumn, with a group of 16, I've contacted Stefan
Beyer about climbing, staying and getting around in the area. Among
other good advice, he told me to drop in a posting here to get some
information on holiday apartments or holiday houses, in particular from
John H., who aparantly rented an apartment there.
TIA,

There's some good information about Costa Blanca on the Rockfax website:

If you don't already have a guide book, the Rockfax one is definitely worth
looking at.
I was over there with some friends just over a year ago, staying in a modern
high-rise apartment in Calpe. The apartment was basic, but very pleasant,
and had a splendid view of the Penon. Unfortunately I didn't book it, and
I can't remember the address. (D'Oh!) The person who did book it just
found it by Googling "Calpe holiday apartment" or something similar.
I can't speak from experience, but I've also heard very good things about

Hello Nans,
I can confirm Sean's view regarding Calpe as a good base.
You will find apartment and car hire info on the site below. I have used
them a couple of times and found them easy to use and reliable. The
apartments were basis but adequate for all our needs and the cars hire was
hassel free.
Good luck. try me again if you get stuck.

Hello Nans,
I can confirm Sean's view regarding Calpe as a good base.
You will find apartment and car hire info on the site below. I have used
them a couple of times and found them easy to use and reliable. The
apartments were basis but adequate for all our needs and the cars hire was
hassel free.
Good luck. try me again if you get stuck.
