A friend has a Swift Charisma and in the oven there is an electric element. Control on front of oven will not activate it. Before he starts to see if element is u/s is there a master switch anywhere other than the main electric panel? I don't know any more on type/model/year of van but he has not go internet access so asked me to see if I could help. Thanks -- ____________________________________________________________________ Regards Jim ____________________________________________________________________
Ignore bit about oven!! When I said I had posted the question he said that he meant to say HOB. His van is fitted with an Electric Hotplate and it is this that is not working. Are there any secrets to the electric hob? Sorry & thanks! -- ____________________________________________________________________ Regards Jim ____________________________________________________________________ "Jim" wrote in message news:4884c27f@extreme.x-privat.org... >A friend has a Swift Charisma and in the oven there is an electric element. >Control on front of oven will not activate it. There is also a 13A plug and socket in the adjacent cupboard, this may be for the hob or could be the microwave, I have not had to unplug it so could be for either. Roy
