Hi,
Has anyone used/can recommend mobile service agents in the area
Leeds/Skipton/Ripon/York.

I have had good sevice from:
S&P Mobile Caravan Services
23 Woodville Terrace

Steve fixed my Powertouch Mover yesterday. However, he was going to Dorset
on holiday today for 3 weeks. If it's not urgent it's worth making a note
of.

Try www.yell.co.uk - there are many in Leeds and a couple in York.
Don't forget you will have to pay travel costs if out of area.

Yes, thanks. I did say though "has anyone used/can recommend". I prefer
to take recommendations rather than a trawl through advertisers.
In the past it has been convenient for me to drop my van off at Catterick
(usually) or Ferrybridge (exceptionally) as I used the A1 a lot - but now
its better for me to have someone visit. Ferrybridge does a mobile
service but if its similar to their workshop service I'm disinclined to
make use of it.

Sorry, I inadvertently deleted your follow up when I meant to reply.
It must be around 4 years since I last was here and, as you say, its good
to see some of the oldies around along with the newer blood. Looks as if
it has calmed down quite a bit too - one of the reasons I unsubbed from it.
I'll stick around for a while and see how it goes.
