TV reception.
I have the usual , for 8 years ago, staus aerial on my Bailey with an
amplifier thing in a convenient cupboard. Recently using an external aerial
on a mast i tried pluging it into the amp to get a better signal but zero
reception.
Do I take it this is only for use with the onboard Status and nothing else??
TIA

I think the amplifier might well be in the aerial unit and not the box
inside the caravan, this box suppling the voltage to the electronics in the
aerial via the coax cable.

Correct - box is a power feed injector for the masthead amp in the aerial.

I believe you are correct. There was a thread on this some time ago.
