going for a song
Hi All,
I know this is way off topic but it's driving me crazy, could anyone please
tell me who the male singer was that sang "Sally" pride of our alley.
He sang it in an up tempo beat and had a high voice.
Please put my mind to rest
Thanks in Advance

Re: going for a song
try putting ("Sally" pride of our alley)" into Google search, that should
give you a good starting point, Gerry Monroe comes up quite a bit, whoever
he is ?

Gracie Fields sang it as a slow ballad, so the OP is probably referring to
a cover version.
At first, I thought of Tiny Tim (famous for Tiptoe Through the Tulips), but
couldn't find a link between him and "Sally". FWIW, I can't imagine
"Sally" with an up-tempo beat!
