Hi all, Just to make a change from all this spam, I have a Abbey
spectrum 540 2006  with a large fridge and freezer. There is a little
rocker switch just under the freezer door to the right, is this switch
to switch off the freezer or the fridge? I switched the switch onto
the off position yesterday and to me it switched off the fridge but
left the freezer on?? I thought it would be the other way round.
There`s nothing in the instuction books. In fact the books are quite

I think you've found the divider heater switch. This keeps a hot bit between 
the fridge and freezer to stop ice forming when the freezer door is opened.
Its either on or off.

That only blocks some, you still have to deal individually with posters you 
don't want infesting your screen.

I wish more people would do that with me instead of complaining about me - 
and even monitoring my activities :-) Still, everyone needs a hobby and if 
they can't get out ...

Sure, but it means that I never saw anything to do with the MI5 persecution 
nonsense until some prat decided to repost it all with a two word comment 
appended to the bottom.  NIN will block the real spammers - everything else 
is really down to your individual preferences.

A lot depends on the news client being used.  Some (e.g. Xananews) make 
killfiling very easy.  I've never found OE6 very good for blocking annoying 
posters.  Perhaps I should get more practice.
