Camping Gaz bottle weights
Probably not looking hard enough but.....

I've got two 907 bottles which both weigh around 3.9Kg, I know there
should be an empty (tare) weight marked on the bottle somewhere but I
can't find it, does anyone know off the top of their head roughly what
it should be? I don't want to drive off on holiday and find I can't have
my brew after I've put the tent up or, worse, the gas runs out half way
through boiling the kettle and I have to drive off to find a camping Gaz
stockist (the site isn't) before I get my tea..

About 3.7Kg empty apparently.

It should be stamped on the rim.

Excellent, thanks for the speedy reply, there is something stamped on
the ring at the bottom of the bottle but it's *really* hard to make out
as both bottles have lead a hard life. Looks like I'll be getting
refills before we go away 'cause it would seem like the bottles have
only about 200g of gas each.
