I drunk 4 pints of beer last week and they cost me £2.30 a pint. This
week they are only £1.80. Do I get a refund?

That is it. You agreed to pay £72 and B&Q are entitled to not refund you
the difference.
On the other side, if B&Q put up the price of something you've already
bought they can't ask you to pay the difference.

Not quite the same since the OP hasn't taken delivery yet.
Is a kitchen (or parts of one) something that could be cancelled under
the DSR?

Not too sure about that - but I took a shirt back to M&S to change for
a smaller size. Two days previously the price had been reduced. So I
was able to change it for another design, and still get a refund for
£7.00.
So why not tell them that you want to change the tap for another
style, and get your refund that way?

Or on the other hand why not recognise that you promised to pay them the
sum they told you about at the time and keep your word?
