Re: Dodgy Picture? [continued from ULM]
[Are you saying that you actually know of URLs of real, active sites
>that offer child pornography for sale? (And I mean porn, not images
>of kids who are merely naked)?
No. But I believe the IWF know them.]

Well, perhaps, they should try stating a few, so it can be checked.
They may develop some credibility, then, amongst those who know.

Since the USA hosts most of them, I am sure they would be delighted to
know - or, perhaps, that is just bollocks?

[Oh, I believe that there are sites offering material that the IWF
>deems to be indecent.
Selling, not just "offering".]

Like selling dead leaves from the floor.

[deliberately misleading at worst.
And those are not the sort of pictures that are being paid for. As you
say yourself, that's a misleading argument. ]

Yes they were (I cannot say 'are', because so few, if any, exist now,
as we know from the IWF). That is what almost all were selling (e.g.
UkraineA, BD, LS, Magic L, Home L etc etc etc) ...

... and then, the few fly-by-nights, who attempted to sell and
recycle, second-hand, historical, Usenet collections, up to the higher
levels (or perceived to be).

Some the FBI and others.

All was well, few, if any, were harmed ... then it was made really,
really naughty ... now look where we are.
