HMCS form
I am in the process of filling out a HMCS online claim form. I am claiming
for faulty goods against a national limited company and am not sure whether
I should direct my claim at the store where I bought the suite or their head
office. Any advice would be appreciated

Ideally, their Registered Office which you can find out from the
Companies House website. http://www.companieshouse.gov.uk

Correct, but be sure to mention that the goods were bought at their shop in
xxxx, where you live, otherwise you might end up with a hearing miles away.

Isn't it done at the local court to the plaintiff?

I would direct it to the store from which you purchased the goods. It
is permissible to do so, and I do not see how serving the company's
registered address would make litigation any easier for you.

If they are a Ltd company or a plc, the hearing should be in the claimant's
local court regardless.
