SMP and redundancy
Hi all

Looking for some information please

I have been working for my employer for 2 years 3 months

I am 22 weeks into my maternity leave and my employer has closed the
business where I worked and might be making me redundant as there is no job
for me at there other premises

My question is
Does the employer still have to pay my SMP?
or
will I need to go to the DHSS for them to pay it?

Thanks

M
