The same principles apply to you in the UK, especially with your own
news these past weeks.

I'm not anti big corporatation, but rather inclined to think that
animal husbandry shoud be reserved for family farming - no multisite
operations and a maximum size limit by law. It would need careful
drafting to allow sensible exceptions

It is good to see farmers taking some part in speaking out.

We do not have that here. Very few farmers will dare speak out.

Speak out? Get penalized. Exaserbates the problems. Penalties
imposed. DEFRA and your own SVS make it happen. That part, I agree
with you. Yet, the producer has to produce and keep their growers
growing.....in hopes of getting back a little bit of money to cover
their costs. Once the investment is made, no one will ever say they
made a mistake. Their's too much money at stake. Raising a pig to
reach slaughter weights in the UK is asking for trouble. Better have
some really deep pockets full of money.

BPEX's and Stewart Houston are the biggest bull-shitters in the
world , today.
