Canada - C'Diff "Hamilton Spectator"
Pat's Notes: This is the editorial on Canada's Toronto Star today
"....Ontarians have just learned the number of elderly patients who
have died at Ontario hospitals from a virulent strain of the deadly
superbug C. difficile has climbed to 463 in the past 30 months.
That's not because the ministry of health is keeping track of
outbreaks of the infection. Rather, the Hamilton Spectator has been
relentlessly pursuing the story...."
You will recall how many times, I have told you that this provincial
Canadaian newspaper knew they were on the edge of one of the world's
greatest ever scandals. It is all there in the archives, not deniable
- there for all to see.
What's the problem?
What is it that the Hamilton Spectator and a retired rather damaged ex
shipbroker in rural England know, and that are so reluctant to make
fully public?
I have said it many times and in many different ways.
Yep, it is hard to believe, but the really bad ones always are.
Sometimes, you just can't win.
