I requested authorisation codes for two companies on 19 June 2008 but
to date neither have arrived at the registered office. I called
Companies House today and they say that they have no way of checking
whether the codes have been issued!

Companies House seem to be having problems lately. They used to do the
basic stuff pretty well but I think they have got complacent.

I've noticed that as well. But they always turn up after the second request.
