My daughter's AX has just developed a problem - the ignition switch won't 
turn beyond the first click, meaning she can't start the thing!

It is a 1997 'spree' and I've made sure it isn't the steering lock holding 
the key back.

Does anyone know if this is a common problem to these, or better still how I 
may fix it?
