Ka security
Hi all,
Apparently last night some ******* scrote somehow gained access to my
wife's Ka which was parked on the driveway, nothing was taken but our
guess is that it was looking for a sat. nav. as everything was cleared
out of the door pockets and glove box! I haven't looked at the car yet,
is there anything specific to watch out for when I do in terms of locks /
body panels being damaged etc?
Thanks,
Peter.

The normal method of entry into these is via the doors. They are flimsy
enough to be held a-jar at the top and then a bent bit of stiff releases the
lock handle from the inside.
You may well find a crease in the frame just above the wing mirror, and the
top of the door sticking out from the roof line where it has been bent.
Usually with the aid of a rubber mallet / block of wood in the door shut at
various places you can bend it all back into shape without marking the
paint.
