LPG on a turbo petrol car?
Am I right in thinking I will need a decent multipoint injections system
with Lambda sensing to avoid melting pistons etc?
Car is a 1993 Saab 9000 Aero with Trionic 5.2 ecu/injection/ignition.

Cheers Pete.
Tesco super-unleaded has just hit 119.9 a litre.
Actually makes the conversion cost worth while if I can get a decent
sized toroid tank inplace of the spare.

I'm in the same boat, going to convert the 4.6 to gas soon.

I ran a 9000 on LPG for 3 years. I had a 77 litre tank in mine.The
fitters had to 'slightly' modify the front of the well with a heavy boot
and it stood about 1" proud. They just added 1" runners down each side of
the boot floor and it fitted and looked fine. BTW, mine was a non turbo
version and I got 25mpg sat at (indicated)75-80 on the motorways.
Hope this helps!
PS, on mine I had them fit the filler to a bracket on the tow bar. It
saves all bodywork modifications and IMHO looks a hell of a lot better!
So much so I had the same done on my next conversion (Volvo V70)
