JAGUAR XJ sport V8 3.2L with multipoint sequential system. JAG ECU goes into REDUCED PERFORMANCE MODE
Hi
Converted Jaguar V8 3.2L year '99 with Multipoint Sequential System.
When runs on petrol everything is fine, but when you switch to gas at idle
you can rev it up to 5k revs works spot on. then go onto the test drive, the
computer displays the message REDUCED PERFORMANCE and car drives fine on
revs below 3000rpm. If you try to put the foot down, once the revs reaches
3000rpm the engine trying to slow down the vehicle.
Did anyone experienced something like this before? I understand that gas
produces less power output, but engine ECU trying to limit the performance
even more. (when switch back to petrol the warning light going away and the
performance goes back to normal)

Is there any chance to disable this option????

Regards

Alex
