sender to run a petrol gauge
stuck now, tried chris prefect for a 40 to 240 or so sender to allow the lpg
tank to display it's contents on the van's fuel gauge, i asked for any
sender/gauge that works with a petrol gauge rather than the leds.

they replied saying they do no such component,

So i'm stumped again, everyone says you can get senders to allow a lpg tank
to be read on the cars petrol gauge, but where the heck do you get em from,
it's for a 4 hole tank and i was led to believe that those are easy to get
different resistance senders for, as opposed to the quarter movement gauge
on the single hole tanks (my gauge goes round a good 270 degrees or so)

i'm almost tempted to have a go at replacing the resistors with ones
suitable for my application, but faffing about with surface mount components
aint fun for me.
