1972 Classic Yellow Mk 1 Ford Escort
Been sat in elderly neighbour's garage since he died in 1995.

First registered 05.1072
1098 cc
28,000 miles on the clock
4 doors
4 flat tyres
covered in dust

Does anyone know if there is a classic owners club that someone might be
interested in this vehicle?
Or should it just be collected for scrap?

Seems a shame, I would be grateful for any advice.

South Kent Coast

TIA

If it's a 2 door it's worth a few good few bob. Price of MK1/2 Essies
is going through the roof.

But still don't scrap it, that's a low mileage car and odds are it will
restore OK.

Stupid fuck. I was pointing out the fact that if it were a 2 door, it
would have been worth a lot of money, not that it was a 2 door which is
why I mentioned about 4 doors. Read the fucking post properly.

Nice try, Conor - but you'd have said "If it had been..."

Where did /you/ mention about 4 doors, then? All I can see from you is
this:

"If it's a 2 door it's worth a few good few bob. Price of MK1/2 Essies
is going through the roof.

Looks like it never made it out to the rest of the world either. Been
having a few issues with Gravity recently with it not updating group
post counts etc but when you unsubscribe from any group, it doesn't but
then does update the count for that group. Fucked if I know.
