1929 morris minor - electrical diagram
Hi,

This I know is not the best forum for the question, but the nearest I
can find.

does anyone in here have or know the location on the net of a scanned
copy of the wiring diagram for a 1929 morris minor?

Regards, Keith

On the contrary, I'd say it's exactly the right forum! Good to see a
sensible question, rather than the handbags-at-dawn stuff we often have to
put up with.

Can't help you myself, I'm afraid, but I bet someone on this NG will.
There's some pretty clever people at this Interweb thing around who take it
as a personal challenge to root out the most obscure bits of information,
usually successfully.

Wasn't the Minor of that era a 750cc or so OHC engine, which found its way
into several MGs?

Good luck,

I have diagrams for the 1932/3 Minor (and the 1934) if it's any help.
I'll scan and email with pleasure.

I can't find the word Minor among my archives, but I have (undated but
pre-1936) wiring diagrams for:
Morris Commercial Model C
Morris Commercial Model T2
Morris 8-HP Model
Morris 10/4 Model
Morris 25-HP Model

If any of those looks interesting to you, I can scan and e-mail.

I would have thought that any of them would suffice as a reference.
Basic vehicle electrics didn't change much apart from the
dynamo/alternator sections.

The OP didn't say why he wanted a wiring diagram. Looking through the
ones I have, there are differences - the number of fuses, the colours of
the wires, separate dynamo and starter or dynamotor, 6 or 12 volts,
electric or mechanical fuel pump, and so on. Yes any of the diagrams
might be useful as a reference, but supposing you are doing a
restoration and wanted to make a new wiring loom. Wouldn't you want to
get it exactly right?
