I am thinking about buying a Lexus RX300 SE the pre 2003 model. Anyone out 
there feel strongly about this car one way or another and would like to 
comment?  Does the engine have a timing belt or chain and what is the 
replacement period? Is there any major problem to look out for? I know the 
car is not really intended for off road use, so don't be too rude. I like 
the idea of being high up off the road and Lexus has a reliable reputation 
along with luxury.
