Double-cab pickup that's fairly economic?
Wotcher all.

I currently have an old Defender and a 1997 Audi A4, neither get used
much so I was hoping to be able to combine the two of them into one
double-cab pickup type vehicle that has fairly decent miles per
gallon. All it needs is to have decent MPG, ideally over 40 in diesel,
automatic, be fairly comfortable and look reasonably smart as I'd be
going to client sites in it (I'm a computer techie). No need for
off-road ability, I've got something else covering that. Load area
doesn't need to be large, but needs a removable cover. Price
something in the £5K-£7K range.

I've not bothered paying any attention to the car market for a long
time, and so don't even know what the names of half the cars are
these days, so if anyone's got a vehicle that matches the above
description then I'd be interested to hear about it. I'm going to
start getting the car comics to see what's about these days too.
