LOL. I get it. Anyone who disagrees with you or responds to your taunts in
kind is a troll. Well remember *you* started this dance and in your game you
are the only one with the right to kick off but this isn't your game. If you
think that because i have a past from my long gone drunken days that it's
open season to pick a fight with me and i won't bite back then think again.
I can handle you any day.

I don't killfile (except when it's my Aussie mate on a post-bombing trip,
because he gets in the way of reading everyone else :) However, I'm not
interested in feeding the troll much further; I just think it's remarkably
creepy that he keeps coming back here when there's all of alt* to go at.

Oh you're only saying that to try and make Jani look bad. ;-)

Hmm, question of audiences, innit? Obviously spotted a gap here in
that there aren't any trolls jumping up and down and gibbering
randomly[1], whereas my recollection of alt.* is that there are more
than a few folk fitting that description. <g> </snob>

[1] We have to rely on the regulars for that, obviously.

Do? well I just went on a bike ride. ;) If you're worried about me trolling
then don't. That's not what I do and despite what people think, that's never
what I do (well not since Igave up the booze over three years ago anyway)
Before that was pretty much a blur anyway. The trouble is that when one is
suddenly forced to give up such a dependency it leaves a psychological
mark. I'm telling you this not because I'm trying to excuse my past but
because you don't read as a troll or one of those hipocrites that try to
provoke me then get upset when i respond; that and i really like you
signatures. :). I've come a long way in the last three years but i've still
got a long way to go. Whether the others beleive me or not is thier problem
and they should deal with it, or not as they see fit. However I shall ignore
their taunts for my sake as much as anyones.

I meant that I'll wait and see what happens and proceed from there.

You tried this "oh, you're the only nice person amongst all these meanies"

Don't even imagine that you know anything about me. You knew nothing about
me "then" and you know nothing about me now other than what I've told you.
If you don't beleive me then that's your problem and I can't be bothered

Yeah well, anyone who tries to convince me I'm nice is on the wrong
tack anyway. I may have many undesirable qualities which, when added
up and viewed from a distance make me *appear* to be nice, but nice I
am *not*. :-)

I never said i was nice. I said I am not the person I was. whether that is a
good thing or bad things os for the fates to decide. ;) In truth I blow hot
and cold a bit.

Yeah but there are niggles ad there are niggles. The trouble is that lot's
of people think that their niggles are worse than everyone elses. The truth
is that everyone has thier share of crap. And I didn't imply anything. I
inferred that you were all "NICER", not "NICE" and that is because if you
hunt around other newsgroups then you will see no end of bickering. Some are
worse than other but it's all a testiment to people's intolerence for each
other. This group is a lot friendlier and is a nice change from the gunge of
usenet.

Different Entity? Trin there are two me's. The drunk me and the sober me.
The sober me has been here (not in this newsgroup but around in general) for
over three and a half years and I post as me. A man in completely the wrong
side of thirty who's not particularly one thing or another; just me.

>You may as well 'cause it doesn't work out for you

Mrs Cake? You mean Jani?
She doesn't always get her man. She didn't get me at all becuse i
practically told you her I was. She certainly doesn't know me at all and
there's nothing special about me so maybe she got other people wrong too. I
don't wish to bring her down but perhaps she judges too rashly. Hands up if
you haven't been guilty of that in the past.

>Be proud of who you are, instead of trying to be someone nice and

I'm not being nice, I'm not being new. I'm being me. Stone cold sober me.

There's no shame in that. Just as long as you don't object when I do the
same. That's not a dig. I just can't stand that kind of hipocrisy.

Trin. For one then maybe you could learn from me too but remember that spam
reply the my reply to spam? Are you seriously tellling me that that was the
best way you could put it? or was it because of my past? Like I said I'm not
here to piss anyone off. That's not what I do. There's more than enough of
that shit going on outside here for my liking so if you have a problem with
something i say then pick me up on it by all means and I'll do my best to
resolve it and more than happy to do so but don't think that my past makes
me an open target or I will bite back (or maybe just ignore you) and I don't
want to do either. In my drunken days I did a lot worse irl than i could
have possible done to anyone on here (unless i met you IRL of course ) The
past is gone and i'd like it to stay gone. Do me that one favour of taking
me how you see me now.

Cheers.

I see someone who talks a lot about the past that they say is gone.
