Hi all,

after a long time offline,
I'm back...

Looking forward to those ol' fashioned rambling threads...

Thanks for the greeting..
I'm glad to be back.

I haven't thought of anything to make a thread about yet,
it usually takes me a day or two to brew one up.

I'm peace-stewarding again at stonehenge this midsummer,
it's estimated there will be around 30 thousand people there
this time. Interesting times ahead, as ever...

I'm amazed at how well it went.

I'm curious -- why did you think it wouldn't?

I had had a very nasty precognitive feeling the 3 weeks leading up to
it,
it has since gone, and I think it was relating to nasty things that
have
happened to various druid leaders and managed-open-access organisers.
Car crashes, sudden illnesses, things that seem like nasty astral
wedges
being inserted between friends... The wedges are something I've only
just
realised are probably more than just my imagination, even though i saw
them...
Stupid me, not noticing their reality, my sight is rarely as clear as
I'd like it to be...

I hope the people who feel they're victims of this will deal with it
in the right and
responsible manner. There's nothing worse than witch-wars with
reasonably powerful
witches. There has been comment regarding a lack of warning about this
kind of thing
for people who are newcomers to the Round Table (the police/council/
english heritage/
druids/pagans/other people) liason group thingy. I had expected that
the pagans, witches
and druids might have a clue, and some do, but we have a lot of people
there who are
probably not aware of what may be cast at or on them. I feel most of
them would listen
politely if they were talked to about it, and then forget it, or
mentally rubbish it. It's quite
probable that being unaware helps keep them safe in some ways. I think
it's about time
us magic-wielders on the RT and in the druid orders, etc, start
cooking up some sensible,
ethically constructed protections.

So, the midsummer gathering went quite well, though we were missing 2
good ritual-leading
druids because of car crashes and illness. The members of the RT who
film the gatherings
were struck by some kind of vicious gut-bug.

I expect that not all of this crap is down to intended actions of
people though.
A psychic thinking bad thoughts about someone or something will
attract and
send troublemaking spirits, whether done with completely concious
intent as
a curse, or just screaming loudly inside your head how you'd like them
to have
something very horrible happen to them.

So, that's why I was very pleasantly suprised by how well it went on
the night..
-

At dusk, the light was just beginning to noticably fade. It was fully
cloudy,
so the twighlight (I know that's not the real spelling of twilight,
but I like it that way.)
was the only indicator that night was upon us.

A Hare came from the field space to the south, within the raised turf
bank,
to the circle between the bank and the Stones. She went all the way
around,
Deosil, and left again at the South.
