Oh fine, just you come back when you *want* something...! ;-)
Actually, while you're here, I found a note the other day that
suggests I loaned you some books, did I manage to or have I been
making up random lists of stuff? I know I came back from visiting with
a couple of books you already have, did I bring any of the rest with
me though? (If you've got them I'm not in a rush to get them back or
anything, I'm merely slightly confused, as usual. :-)

I've been watching the sun the past few days, it's been glorious. Out
at dawn to take sprogs to school, back at nearly sunset to get them
again. The sun blazes across the sky, never managing to get much
higher than the rooftops, and never managing to melt the frost.
Everything is sort of pale orange and palest blue and bright white
here at the moment. (Not *exactly* at the moment, you understand - now
it's sort of bright orange and black and
sparkly-patches-of-reflected-orange)

At least you are responsible for them instead of having tantrums like,
er, me. <g> Quiet tantrums, but I'll be glad of some more daylight so
I can turf sprogs out to play and I don't need to feel like I'm the
sulky teenager who is cooped up inside.

Friend of mine did a fire walk on Skye not so long ago. I am jealous.
She also broke an arrow with her neck. Hrrmph.

Now, climbing sounds appealing, even though I'm terrified of heights.
I've decided caving is not for me, mind you, but rock-climbing is
something I've always fancied doing.

By yourself or with motor power assisting you? :-)

Little bit.

You may well have been making up lists of random stuff, but this
particular one is correct.

I have them all on a shelf waiting to come back to you. So we have to
sort a visit out :)

I've been driving a lot and watching all the diferent landscapes. It's
been good.

You can do both. I do :)

You're a mum, I think we all feel like that!

I used to. As with so many things it has been sacrificed for family.
So if I start doing it again it will be zombie rock climbing.

Who knows. Have a look at airkix

Explains the love of warmth, too. ;-)

Indeedy. I may be briefly solvent tomorrow and in the frame of mind to
plan. <g> Hopefully I'll get a few hours at work over a month (they
said something about six hours a month at least, which is a start)
which will give me a bit more cash to juggle. Plus I'm not paying the
college their fees until they can tell me how much I owe them and how
much I've paid, so I reckon that's a couple of months payments spare.

I was marching along from school the other morning thinking that I'd
got the right combination of gear on, because I wasn't cold and it was
pleasant to walk - then another mum offered me a lift back. All of two
streets. Ho hum. :-)

Well I do do both, but you know what I mean anyway. <g>

The Fire Lady was holding forth again about respite care for mothers.
<:-) Everyone else is going out on works nights out and so on, we're
not. Even suggested an allotment meeting in the pub but the idea was
rejected because 'It'll be busy'. Pah.

It's that one where you've to charge at it really quickly or
something? I've seen it done but can't recall exactly how it works,
something about doing it so that the arrow is more likely to bend and
snap than drive itself into the neck. <g> She did say that she asked
if she could do the fire walk and leave the arrow-breaking alone.
