R~O~F~L....I bet you won't be teaching the women to go and cover their heads
before praying to God, Robert.
I bet you won't be telling the women to remain silent in the churches as God
has commanded them.
I bet you won't be castigating the "Silly women, laden with sin" who are
speaking and preaching and lying by saying God has called them to disobey
Him by so doing.

I couldn't really care less, they are really no better then any other
religious NG.
In fact it does occur that a moderator can pursue one rule for themselves
and another for the posters.

I suspect that many internet users these days don't learn about usenet
or newsgroups and end up on private fora where they're at the mercy of
the moderator's prejudices. Perhaps not everyone's ready for the rough
and tumble of uncensored debate. :-)
uk.religion.interfaith has been very quiet lately. How are you?

Very well thank you, how are you?
This has only ever been poorly attended as long as I can remember, just as
uk.religion.misc, and interfaith.
I am surprised they have not disbanded by now.

Apathy never disbanded anything, Jeff.
Do you wear religious symbols, Jeff?

Not likely, not like most Catholics, their Pope and his whole entourage,

Really? I wondered what an 'Endorcer' was.

No! problem, Mike.
It's an Endorcer without an 'S'
Could you kindly answer my other post?
Thanks, Mike.

I'm well, thank you, and currently learning (mostly by doing) about
vegetable gardening. It's rewarding and humbling in equal measure!

There have been intermittent bursts of activity on this group, some of
it very interesting, during the ten years or so I've been reading it,
but overall it's become quieter. I hope it's not a reflection of a
lessening of discussion among people of different faiths, but it may be.
It's bad enough when people have to work ever harder to support
incompetent and corrupt politicians, public officials and business
leaders, increasing numbers of alcoholics, gangs of teenage killers, and
cohorts of children conceived (or bought) only so that their parent(s)
can jump a rapidly-lengthening queue for subsidised housing. If
imperfect but essentially good people are divided one against another,
it can only give more power to the warmongers and servants of Mammon who
already seek to destroy what they cannot enslave.
>I am surprised they have not disbanded by now.
If there's no traffic on a newsgroup it uses virtually zero bandwidth,
so it's probably not worth anyone's trouble to delete one. In the
meantime this one still welcomes people ready to poke their heads above
the parapet. :-)

On the bottom line what is their to finally discuss.
They are either in the Truth or they aren't.
Capitulating only brings more liberal and long-term
complications......Scripture sums it up perfectly.
"ONE LORD. ONE FAITH, ONE BAPTISM"
And that certainly ain't a 'christening'.

Mike pops in from time to time, I ask him a serious question and he promptly
scurries away into the nether-regions.
