More IE woes   
Just had a wasted hour and  a half with IE8

Seems it doesn't handle margin:auto the same as other browsers.

Can't waste any more time on the bloody thing so it's yet another
table.

I've been working with some templates supplied by a client who insists
on using Front Page (don't ask).  They have no doctype declaration.  

http://www.enterprisepromotion.org/l1.htm
is handled differently in FF and IE8

With doctype, everything seems fine
http://www.enterprisepromotion.org/l2.htm

Doesn't seem to matter which.

Yes, I tried adding one and it buggers up the legacy code.

Yes, I have tried to get them to stop using Grunt Page
