Does that mean that if you block Google Analytics (as I do on Firefox)
you don't get to see the site at all?
Sounds like a case of "be careful what you ask for because you might
get it".

Now why would you go doing that... are you worried MI5 are tracking you and
giving your browser history to Richard & Judy?

I ended up putting GA script all in £manualy instead of plugin. He got it.

Point of principle I suspect, many people consider their data as
their own property, Google has neither paid nor asked for it's
use. As an example, I block all third party cookies, not because
I believe that cookies are bad (like some) but because why should
web site XYZ place or obtain information just because I have
visited web site ABC?
On the subject of Firefox plug-ins, does anyone know of a plug-in
that disables animated gif's, those ruddy stupid animated
smiley's as found on web forums and the like are driving me nuts!

The "Web Developer" plug-in has an option to disable image animations.

Well I was just pointing it out to Owen, but if you want my analysis; I just
don't think you should be so decisive that you don't need developer plugins
when it turns out that it's what you needed and are now being recommended.
Most people have been down that road in some subject so I'll leave it there.
